Master Investor Show

17 March 2018

The Business Design Centre, Islington, London

The Department for Enterprise return to the Master Investor Show to highlight financial support schemes, including the £50m Enterprise Development Fund, with stand partners who’ve received funding from the DfE.

About the Show

Now in its 16th year, the Master Investor Show is the UK’s leading event for private investors.

Each year the show brings together over 5,000 private investors in London to learn from expert speakers, network with and gain valuable insights from fellow investors, entrepreneurs, fund managers and CEOs.

Master Investor sets the standard for investor events across the UK, hosting an incredibly high calibre of speakers. This year’s show will include an engaging panel discussion with Jim Mellon – renowned UK financier and entrepreneur, Charlotte Ransom – founder of Netwealth and Merryn Somerset Webb – editor in chief of MoneyWeek.

Where to find the Department

Delegates will be able to find the Department for Enterprise at Stand 34 – 35 on the Mezzanine Floor from where our UK Business Development and Grants and Assistance team will be on hand to advise visitors on grant, loan and equity funding available through the Isle of Man.

This year, Cortech Healthcare Ltd, a design, development and manufacturing business specialising in electronic independent living products, will join the Department on the stand to showcase their Electronic Commode and share their experience of working with the Department and the £50m Enterprise Development Fund Managers, SPARK Impact, to secure the first round of investment in their business. They will be at the Show to raise interest from investors and secure a second round of investment which will allow Cortech to take their products from prototype to full production into the Isle of Man, UK and European healthcare markets.

Visit Stand 34 – 35 to discover why the Isle of Man is the ideal location for business relocation and inward investment, and the opportunities the Island has to offer anyone looking to start, grow or relocate their business.
