The Department for Enterprise offers a range of support schemes to support starting, growing and developing businesses on the Isle of Man.
Whether you are an individual looking to take your first steps into self-employment; a business requiring funding to scale-up and grow; or an established organisation looking to invest and improve in a particular area, the Department has a number of opportunities for creating and developing a business on the Isle of Man.
Our schemes include a range of assistance including financial grants, loan and equity investments, in addition to training and business mentoring.

The Department for Enterprise has announced extensions to financial support schemes for Travel and Tourism businesses which remain financially affected by the continuing restrictions placed on the Island's borders due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as additional support for Isle of Man businesses following the implementation of the circuit break lockdown.
The Coronavirus Business Support Scheme - Circuit Break Lockdown was introduced to financially support businesses outside the travel and tourism sector with eligible business overheads.
In addition the Strategic Capacity Scheme, Coronavirus Business Support Scheme and Coronavirus Recovery Scheme have all been extended to March 31st 2021 in order to support businesses affected by border closures during the forthcoming 'off-season' period.
